Madison Street Obstetrics and Gynecology
Drs. Lori Claypool and Sheila Carnett of Madison Street Ob/Gyn offer comprehensive women’s care for all stages of life – from contraception to obstetrics, well woman visits to menopause. The doctors offer all the routine services including pap smears, breast exams, diagnostic testing and biopsies. In addition, they perform some procedures in their office that have been traditionally done in hospital, in particular endometrial ablation and hysteroscopy. In this way, they can save patients time and money and help them avoid a visit to the hospital for surgery.
And when it comes to obstetrics, Drs. Claypool and Carnett offer the kind of services rarely seen these days. Rather than sharing their patients with the other physicians in their group, they each follow their own OB patients from start to finish and beyond. They’re kind of selfish that way, but they believe that being there when their patients deliver is important for everyone involved – and half the fun! Dr. Carnett even performs her own obstetric ultrasounds to further share in her patients’ experience.
