About
Ahmed Abdulkadir, MD, is a psychiatrist who practices at the South Providence Psychiatry Clinic. He helps patients experiencing mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, ADHD and substance use disorders, including complex cases with overlapping symptoms. He also focuses on helping patients find the right treatment plan for them, with careful mediation management to support both effectiveness and safety.
Dr. Abdulkadir became a doctor because it brings together science, problem-solving and the opportunity to directly improve patients’ quality of life. He believes the best care comes from collaborative relationships and agreement on expectations for treatment.
Outside of work, Dr. Abdulkadir enjoys spending time with his wife and young daughter. His hobbies include soccer, video games and stand-up comedy.
