About
Kristina Gifft, DO, is a board-certified heart and internal medicine doctor with additional fellowship training in interventional cardiology. She diagnoses and helps patients manage and treat heart conditions such as coronary artery disease and cardiogenic shock. Dr. Gifft also provides a minimally invasive surgery for high blood pressure called renal denervation.
Dr. Gifft is thrilled to serve the community where she studied, offering whole-person care to each patient she meets.
She and her husband have two young children, Ryelin and Rory, and two dogs. Dr. Gifft enjoys running, swimming laps and playing tennis to stay active, and has recently picked up artistic hobbies of water painting and wood burning.

Research Profile
Kristina Gifft, DO, is a board-certified, fellowship-trained internal medicine and interventional cardiology specialist who treats coronary artery disease, cardiogenic shock and hypertension. She is excited to join the hospital where she completed her residency and fellowship and to help train the next generation of cardiologists, who may one day take care of her and her family.
Dr. Gifft has research publications in a range of literature databases, investigating acute coronary syndromes, transcatheter aortic valve replacement and congestive heart failure. Her research interests include coronary atherosclerosis and invasive hemodynamics. Dr. Gifft is also interested in and excited about new techniques and technologies that make treatments safer and more effective for patients.
