Patrician Schwartze,
Surgical
After several weeks in the hospital a patient Pat was caring for became depressed and missed the things she couldn't do before being confined in the hospital. She mentioned to Pat a dish she would like to try. Pat went home that evening and made the dish for the patient and brought it in. The patient was very grateful and appreciative of Pat's kind actions. Pat gave the patient a nice reminder of the life she will return to and helped lift her spirits! Great job Pat, thanks for seeing healthcare is more than medications and tests.

A Quarterly Award
Leslie Duckworth,
ICU Manager
Being a leader often means you don't get a day off. When one of Leslie's staff members had to go through a process that she hadn't done in a while, Leslie came in on her day off to train her on the new protocol. She helped her staff member and went through the process step by step. Thanks, Leslie for stepping up for your staff, right when they needed you! |
