Leota Maag, RN, BSN, CDE
Leota is a graduate of Truman State University with a BS in Nursing. She has
been a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) since 1996 and has been active in diabetes
education and a member of American Association of Diabetes Educators since 1987.
Leota has worked in Columbia, MO, Tulsa, OK, and Joliet, IL before coming to
CRMC. Leota is a certified pump trainer and enjoys working with patients in
both group and individual settings.
Carol Smart
Carol joined the DMC team as Office Coordinator in June 2003. She attended Lincoln
University and has been employed with CRMC since 1981. Carol coordinates scheduling,
insurance vertification, billing and other functions for the Diabetes Management
Center.
Sharon Harrison, MS, RD, LD
Sharon is a licensed and registered dietitian with a Master of Science degree in Human Nutrition. Sharon completed her dietetic internship at St. Louis University and has over 20 years experience as a dietitian. She is a member of the American dietetic Association and is a member of the Diabetes Educators Practice Group.
