WAYS TO GIVE Fitness for Life The Capital Region Healthplex is the only hospital-based, medically-directed fitness center in the region, including cardiac rehabilitation and fitness and therapy programs for those we serve. With a membership approaching 3,000, we have outgrown our space. In answer to this need, we are excited to announce that Capital Region Medical Center is expanding the Healthplex. Dr. Jack Sanders and Nancy Vostal are co-chairing the campaign steering committee to make this project a reality.
Commemorative and memorial naming opportunities are available and gifts can be made over a three-year pledge period. The Foundation’s goal is to raise $1.75 million for this expansion. On Monday, December 1, 2008, we were excited to announce that we have received the lead gift from Sam B. Cook that will name our newly-expanded Healthplex the Sam B. Cook Healthplex. To date, we have raised $1.4 million toward our goal!
