to Capital Region Medical Foundation.

of Stocks or Other Securities. Stocks or other investments
that have grown in value and that you have held for more than one
year can be a way of making a substantial gift to the Foundation
and at the same time receiving a tax advantage.
Planned
Gifts. Including Capital Region Medical Foundation
in your estate plan is an excellent way to carry out your charitable
objectives and desires. Planned gifts also can be a significant source
of support for the current, as well as future, needs of Capital Region
Medical Center. Planned gifts are the fastest growing method of philanthropy

of Gifts and Special Funds The Foundation offers a variety of gift opportunities
that help donors achieve their personal charitable objectives
while providing important support that helps Capital Region Medical
Center meet current and future health care needs.

Area
of Greatest Need - Undesignated Gifts
Undesignated gifts are used to support urgent patient care needs as determined
by Medical Center Administration and the Foundation Board of Trustees.
Designated
Gifts
A donor may wish to designate a preferred use for a gift.
Restricted
Gifts
Donors may make a gift to the Foundation with a legal restriction to a specific
medical service or specialty area. Donors considering this type of gift should
consult with the Foundation.
Memorial/Tribute
Gifts
A memorial or tribute gift is a lasting remembrance or recognition of a family
member, friend, loved one, or staff member.
SPECIAL
FUNDS
Unrestricted
Endowment Fund
Your gift will be placed in an investment fund of which only the earnings
generated will be available to support the needs of Capital Region Medical
Center. Any amount may be contributed for the unrestricted endowment or for
any previously established named endowment.
Named
or Restricted Endowment
Donors may create a named or restricted endowment for the general purposes
designated by the Foundation Board with a minimum amount of $25,000.
Scholarship
Fund
Your gift helps aspiring healthcare professionals reach their goals in the
medical field, Scholarships are awarded annually to students from Jefferson
City and the surrounding area.
Medical
Equipment
Rapid advancements in medical technology necessitate upgrading and purchasing
new medical equipment. Your gift helps Capital Region provide the best care
possible to our patients by maintaining its state-of-the-art capabilities.

Center Facilities
