State-of-the-art aquatic therapy at Capital Region
Healthplex West is one of a kind in Central Missouri. The professional staff
uses the pool for patients who need to increase range of motion, strength, balance
and gait training. Aquatic therapy allows individuals with weight-bearing
restrictions to start a rehabilitation program sooner. This is the same type of therapy
pool used for rehabilitation and fitness purposes by the Indiana Pacers, Philadelphia
Eagles and Cincinnati Bengals.

The Pool:
Patients can either walk or be wheeled onto the floor of the
HydroWorx 2000® pool and lowered to any water depth for therapy treatments.
The pool features:
Variable water depth up to six feet
Accommodates up to four people
Variable-speed treadmill floor
Variable water temperature
Massage hose for deep tissue stimulation
Resistance jets
Underwater cameras and viewing monitors
