The sports medicine program offers you everything you need
to recover from a sports-related injury. Using a team approach, referring physicians
and our professional staff develop a comprehensive program based on your individual
needs. Simply put, our goal is to help you achieve maximum mobility and performance
in the minimum amount of time.
The
sports medicine staff has years of experience and expertise to provide you with
the best possible rehabilitation therapy. Our staff includes:

Our staff will develop an individualized plan to get
you back in the game quickly and safely. Depending on your injury, your plan
might include any or all of the following services.
Comprehensive evaluations and rehabilitation of sports injuries
Certified athletic trainer outreach program for schools
in the Capital Region
Athletic injury workshops and seminars for schools, leagues
and sports organizations
Saturday
Morning Football Clinic
Our athletic trainers provide comprehensive coverage of area
high school and college practices and games. During football season, for example,
our staff provides a Saturday morning clinic at the Healthplex (from 9-11 a.m.)
for athletes who sustained injuries on Friday night. No referrals are necessary,
but please call by 8:30 a.m. Saturday to make an appointment.
High School Sports
The team of professionals at Capital Region Healthplex West are committed to keeping local athletes off the sidelines and in the game. Currently Capital Region Athletic Trainers provide servies to Blair Oaks, Eugene, Russellville and Sought Callaway High Schools. In addition to treating athletes on a one on one basis at Healthplex West, the trainers are fixtures on the sidelines standing by in the event of injury.

Started
To take advantage of our Sports Medicine Program, please
be sure to follow these steps:
Patients under the age of 18 must have written permission
from a parent or legal guardian responsible for his/her care prior to treatment.
Patients who are referred by a physician must have a written
prescription from their referring physicians.
