Capital Region Rehabilitation services have provided care to
patients and families since 1977.
Mission: To improve the functional independence
of individuals with activity limitations.
Purpose: To provide comprehensive rehabilitation
services to individuals with a disabling disease or injury in order to maximize
functional independence and enhance the quality of life.
This goal is facilitated by the efforts of a team of professional,
specifically trained in rehabilitation. Our 14-bed unit offers intensive patient
and family education and training to promote the individual's return to home
and community.
Ethics: Capital Region Medical Center has
established a code of organizational ethics in recognition of the institution's
responsibility to our patients, employees, trainees, physicians, visitors, business
associates and the community we serve. It is the responsibility of every Capital
Region member to act in a manner that is consistent with this code and its related
policies.
Patient admissions, room assignments and patient/clients services
are provided regardless of race, age, creed, color, sex, national origin, ethnicity,
religion, sexual orientation, communicable disease, or activity limitations.
