The Parkinson's Support Group is available for those with the
disease or for anyone who is interested in learning more about it. A variety
of guest speakers have met with the group about topics such as: nutrition, exercise,
articulation problems and dysphagia, leisure education, drug interventions,
and the mind-body connection to health and wellness. The group meets at 3
p.m. on the third Wednesday of the month in the Cafeteria at

Happy Achiever's Stroke Support Group
The Happy Achiever's Stroke Support Group is available for
survivors and others interested in increasing the understanding of the emotional,
social and educational needs of stroke survivors. The group offers opportunities
to share experiences and feelings, to socialize with other group members and
to participate in community social events. Family members are always welcome
to attend the meetings. The Therapeutic Recreation Specialists organize the
meetings and are available to provide information on resources for stroke survivors.
