Capital Region Medical Center is pleased to welcome Angie Stonner, NP, to Capital Region Physicians – Pediatrics.
Angie received her Master of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tn. Prior to that, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, Mo.
Having begun her nursing career as an ICU nurse, followed by years of experience as a lactation consultant, school nurse, charge nurse in obstetrics and pediatric nurse practitioner for another local medical group, Angie brings a multitude of knowledge to her role with CRP-Pediatrics. She is a board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner and an international board-certified lactation consultant.
Angie was born and raised in Jefferson City, one of the many reasons she cares so deeply for the community. She and husband, David, have three kids. They enjoy spending time outdoors and attending the kids’ various activities.
With the addition of Angie Stonner, Capital Region Physicians–Pediatrics will now offer same-day appointments five days a week. Same-day sick visits are available Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Appointments can be made by calling 573-632-5525.
