Capital Region Physicians Welcomes Taran Murphy, DNP to Primary Care Clinic

Capital Region Physicians is pleased to welcome Taran Murphy, DNP, APRN, FNP to Capital Region Physicians – Primary Care Clinic.
Taran received her Doctor of Nursing Practice and Family Nurse Practitioner degrees from University of Missouri-Columbia Sinclair School of Nursing, in Columbia, Mo. Prior to that, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Truman State University, in Kirksville, Mo.
Since 2014, Taran has worked as an RN for University of Missouri Women’s Hospital in Columbia, Mo., in positions ranging from maternal newborn/women’s service line to labor and delivery. She has also held teaching positions at the University.
Taran is board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
Growing up as an air force kid, Taran moved around a lot. She is married with two children, a boy and a girl. Spending time with family and friends and trying new recipes are things she enjoys doing in her spare time. She jokes that she also enjoys “attempting” to craft.
