Capital Region Medical Center's admission process is designed to make you feel comfortable and informed as soon as you arrive. We have five admitting stations for privacy and confidentiality. You will be greeted and assisted at the registration desk by a member of the admitting staff and members of Partners, our volunteer staff. We strive to keep your wait time during the registration process to a minimum.
Upon arrival, you will be interviewed by one of our nurses in the admissions department. He or she can answer any questions you have concerning your care or refer you to the appropriate staff.
Identification band
An identification band will be placed on your wrist when you are admitted. The band shows the staff your name, hospital number and admitting physician. Please do not remove this band during your hospital stay.
