About

Rachel Warnert, MD, is a pediatrician and board-certified internal medicine physician who has additional fellowship training as a palliative care specialist. She helps adults and children achieve quality-of-life improvements while they are going through treatment for complex conditions. Dr. Warnert works closely with the other members of a patient’s care team to relieve stress, pain and other symptoms.

Dr. Warnert chose to become a doctor because she is passionate about empowering people to actively direct their own care. She strives to assist her patients in making informed decisions about their care that fit their individual values and goals. Her favorite part about being a physician is getting to know her patients so that she can tailor their treatment plans to their goals.

Outside of work, Dr. Warnert’s hobbies include swimming and following college hockey. She is married with two children and has a dog named Rosie.
