About

Renae Belt, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker with more than a decade of experience in the field of social work and mental health. She uses multiple therapy modalities in her clinical approach to helping patients. Renae’s foundation is in the attachment theory point of view, which considers that how we learn to form relationships, mostly in our childhood, shapes how we understand ourselves in the world. She is also interested in the impact of diet on mental health and is working toward becoming a certified eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) therapist.

With a background in agriculture, Renae is excited to provide behavioral health services to her rural community as part of a practice where she can work alongside other professionals to provide integrated care. She believes each patient is the expert in their own life and focuses on helping them move towards the changes they want to see.

There is never a dull moment in Renae’s life thanks to six children, six grandchildren, three Airedale terriers, a red heeler, as well as the goats, chickens and horse on her family’s small farm. Her hobbies include working on that farm, crocheting and refinishing furniture.
